Irrigation system installed across a rural property in South Australia

Irrigation Installation & System Design

Irrigation planned around your water source, pressure, soil and plants, then installed to last. For homes, rural properties and commercial sites across the Adelaide Hills.

Design first, then dig

A system that works starts with a proper design

A lot of irrigation problems trace back to the day the system went in: nobody checked how much water the supply could actually deliver, or lawn, shrubs and pots were all put on one zone and one schedule. Good installation starts with good design.

Before anything goes in the ground, we look at where your water comes from (mains, rainwater tank, bore, dam or licensed supply), test the pressure and flow available, and walk the property to understand slope, soil, sun and what you are growing. That decides pipe sizes, how many zones you need, which emitters suit each area and whether you need a pump or filtration.

The result is a system that waters evenly, does not waste water and is easy to run, whether it is a new home garden in Mount Barker, a horse property in Oakbank or an orchard block in Balhannah. Once it is in, we can document everything in a personalised irrigation manual.

What we install

Systems for every kind of property

We choose the system type for each area of the property, not one solution for everything.

Drip irrigation

Inline and pressure-compensating drip for garden beds, hedges, orchards and vineyards. Water goes straight to the roots with very little lost to evaporation or run-off.

Pop-up sprays and rotors

For lawns and open turf, laid out with head-to-head coverage so you do not end up with dry patches and boggy corners.

Subsurface drip

Buried drip line for lawns, verges and narrow strips where sprays would hit paths, fences, walls or windows.

Micro-sprays and sprinklers

For orchards, windbreaks, nurseries and mixed plantings that need a wider wetted area than drip provides.

Rural and agricultural systems

Mainlines, sub-mains and zoning for paddocks, market gardens, orchards and vineyards, sized to your pump and water allocation.

Pumps, tanks and filtration

Pumps for tank, bore, dam or river supply, with filtration matched to the water so emitters stay clear.

How it works

From site visit to switch-on

Site visit

We walk the property with you, look at the water source and test pressure and flow.

Design and quote

You get a clear layout and an itemised quote, so you know what is going in and why before work starts.

Installation

Trenching, pipework, valves, emitters and controller installed neatly, at depths and with fittings that suit the site.

Commissioning

Every zone is tested and adjusted, the controller is programmed for the season and we show you how it all works.

Where we design and install systems

Each area page explains the local conditions we plan for, from heavy clay around Mount Barker to higher-rainfall country around Lobethal.

FAQs

Common questions

Do I need a design if I am only watering a small garden?

Even small systems benefit from a check of pressure and flow. It is what stops the last few drippers on a line running dry or a lawn zone underperforming. For a small garden the design step is simple, but it still gets done.

Can you install irrigation that runs off a rainwater tank, bore or dam?

Yes. Tank, bore and dam systems need a correctly sized pump and usually filtration. We size both as part of the design so the system runs reliably from your supply.

Can you work with my landscaper or builder?

Yes. On new builds and landscaping projects it is best to get sleeves and mainlines in before paving and turf go down. We are happy to coordinate with your landscaper or builder.

Do you provide free quotes?

Yes. Send us a few details about your property and what you would like watered, and we will arrange a time to look at the site and quote.

Planning a new irrigation system?

Tell us about your property and what you want to water. We will design a system that suits your site and your supply.
